The new Hippo Hex 2 performance golf club set is designed and built for the accomplished golfer demanding the ultimate in distance, control, feel, and forgiveness. Consisting of the exciting new Hex family of clubs and starting with the Hex 2 driver that earned a top ten ranking in Rankmark's testing, is included in the 2008 Golf Digest "Hot List", and is selected by Golf Magazine as one of the seven best "Maximum Game Improvement" drivers for 2008. The Hex 2 finished first in accuracy and second overall in distance when tested against the other top performing drivers. With its unique geometric hexagonal shape and optimum weight distribution to the back corners to reduce slice causing side spin and provide consistently straight and long tee shots, the Hex #4 and #6 fairway woods will pick the ball from the tightest lies to the deepest rough and provide distance and trajectory for those long fairway shots.
Included in the set are the hot Hex 3-2-3 Progressive irons made up of three hybrid clubs to replace the hard to hit #3, #4, and #5 irons, the two #6 and #7 mid irons are a closed cavity back with polymer vibration dampening with great feel for those long high shots to the green, and the final three “scoring” clubs (#8, #9, and pitching wedge) are a deep cavity oversize design and will produce incredible accuracy to get the ball close to the pin.
The driver, fairway woods, and hybrids are all powered by the hot CP4 graphite shaft with a mid kick point and Regular flex and the #6 through pitching wedge irons come with True Temper steel shafts also in Regular flex. Finally the set comes with the incredible Hex 2 putter that has proven to be one of the most accurate new putters available with its unique high Moment of Inertia design and high visibility 3 hexagon alignment systems to create one of the most forgiving putters particularly on miss hits.

Features:
• Hex 2 Driver: The unique 460cc titanium carbon, 10 degree loft Hex 2 driver is recognized as one of the best performing new shaped driver. The hexagonal shape allows optimum weight distribution to the back corners to reduce the effects of side spin resulting in the straight and long drives. Hippo’s patented Integrated Technology marries ultra light woven carbon fiber side rails to a 6-4 forged titanium crown and sole that is welded to the super hard SP 700 titanium face allowing the thinnest face possible for maximum COR and distance. Powered by the regular flex low torque 65 gram CP4 shaft and the dual cord Hex grip for incredible feel and control.
• Hex 2 Fairway woods: The low profile maraging stainless steel 17 degree #4 wood and 21 degree #6 wood are also designed to provide maximum forgiveness and high trajectory shots even on miss hits and will power through the deepest rough or pick the ball clean from the tightest fairway lies. Getting the ball up quickly and with a high launch trajectory are characteristics of these incredibly easy hitting woods. CP4 shafts in Regular flex and the dual cord grip are standard.
• Hex 2 Progressive 3-2-3 irons: These are the most advance irons ever designed and will provide the ultimate in shot making and forgiveness. The hybrid design of the #3, #4, and #5 regular flex graphite shafted irons insure long straight shots from 200 yards with maximum forgiveness even when miss hit. The closed cavity vibration dampened #6 and #7 irons provide high shot making from middle distance in and come with True Temper Regular flex steel shafts. The deep cavity wide sole #8, #9, and Pitching Wedge are true scoring irons and will get the ball close to the pin for birdie making opportunities.
• Hex 2 putter: The hexagonal shaped head and unique 3 hexagon alignment system will create straighter putts and the soft feel polymer backed CNC milled aluminum face insert gives tremendous feed back and touch resulting in more putts made. An extra 3 grams of weight at each rear corner create a very high MOI (Moment of Inertia) resulting in straighter putts even when miss hit. The Hex 2 putter is faced balanced and promotes a smooth pendulum stroke.
• Viper dual strap stand bag: The deluxe lightweight Viper bag has an ergonomically designed dual strap carry system, full length dividers, and lots of pockets for wet or dry valuables and clothes.
